My Favorite Snack
I looooove peanut butter and I loooove honey, so put them together and I am soooo happy! I eat this a lot as a snack or a meal. I eat it when I start craving something sweet, but it's healthy. After I make it I put it in the fridge but you probably don't have to. You can also roll them up into little balls and freeze them. (That takes too much time for me. I just eat it straight outta the bowl I mix it in!)
So here is the recipe, kind of...I don't use a recipe, I just throw things in it.
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup honey (any equal amounts of 1st 2 ingred.)
1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
raisins
sunflower seeds, hulled of course
coconut (coconut stops diarrhea by the way..)
chocolate chips (I use dairy free ones)
several shakes of cinnamon (helps with blood sugar)
1 Tbsp ground flaxseed (my vita-mix grinds it)
1 Tbsp milk thistle, ground (this purifies your blood) Bought at bulk herb store
1 tsp wheat germ
The last 3 ingredients are optional
Mix it all up or roll into balls and coat with coconut and freeze...enjoy!!
