Drug dealer to preacher

From a drug dealer to a hope dealer. 

Jesus saved John (my husband) 24 years ago today, March 5th. 

From a drug addict to a Jesus fanatic.

From planning schemes to planting 2 churches. 

Do you wonder why he preaches with such PASSION?

He once really was lost and now he really is found. 

From the darkness of a suicide attempt to now saving souls by sharing the gospel. 

He’s an amazing father and husband. 

Only Jesus can transform like that. 

If you don’t believe in God just look at his testimony. 

Thank you Jesus for the blood applied to cover our sin!!

Sugar

Many people made new years resolutions last month that revolve around weight loss, health, and nutrition.  Whether we are trying to lose weight or not we should ALL be concerned with our health.  I used to eat sooooo much white sugar and junk food.  I was not gaining weight because I exercised a lot so I kept eating it.  I did not realize the damage it was doing to my overall health until years later . White sugar is in almost everything these days in some form or another.  High fructose corn syrup, the first ingredient in most processed food, is even worse than sugar.  It poisons your body and damages your health.  I know you are thinking, "How can I live without sugar or processed food!?"  I used to think that way. Moment with the Master Week 5

We have been studying Psalm 63 and will finish it this week.   Take some time now to pray and reread all of Psalm 63.   Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and counsel you and help you understand the Scripture. Read Psalm 63:6.   What do you think about when you lay down to go to sleep?   I usually think of everything I did that day, things I didn’t get to do, and my huge to do list for the next day.   Thinking on those things just makes me feel overwhelmed.   The Lord doesn’t want us to feel overwhelmed, discouraged or even worried and stressed.   He wants us to sleep sweetly and feel rested as we meditate on Him.   Psalm 42:8 says, “Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.”   You can think of songs and say prayers as you lay in bed.   I love to drift off to sleep while I have been praying to Jesus laying in bed.   It is so peaceful!...
