The Armor of God
The armor of God is found in Ephesians 6:10-18.
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Wiles is defined as a systematic, methodical plan. The devil has a systematic, methodical plan to destroy your life. Don't be scared, be sober. God gave us what we need to wage this unseen war. The devil appears as an angel of light to lie, deceive and entice us.
1 Peter 5:8 says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour"
Job 1:7 says, "And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and."
But we are given armor to protect us. We don't have to be devoured. We can stand and fight.
2 Corinthians 6:7 says, "By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left"
2 Corinthians 10:4, "(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
A lot of the battle takes place in the mind. Catch your thought and cast it out if it is not TRUE and replace it with TRUTH.

we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
The breastplate of righteousness will guard your heart.
Proverbs 4:23, "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life".
Eph. 6:15, "And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace"
"How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace"
Ephesians 6:16, "Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked."
1 John 5:4 says, "For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. The armor all works together and is centered around truth.
Ephesians 6:17, "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:"
The more of the Bible you know and memorize the easier it is to recall Scripture to fight off the devil.
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Ephesians 6:18, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints"
We must pray for each other. We are all in a battle. When you are strong, others may be weak and need your prayers. When you are weak you will need the prayers of others. Persevere. Fight the good fight of faith. The Victory is won!
